After Vinitaly and Umbria che Eccelle, it is time to put a hand to our Trebbiano Spoletino vineyard. The vegetative restart is very important and delicate, as the vine must not suffer spring frosts and to avoid them one can only hope that the weather does not play bad tricks. Now I will briefly explain what is done during this particular stage of the vine:

During the vegetative restart (budding) the vine regains vigor, the nutrients present in the soil must not be lacking, therefore the area between one row and the other is harrowed, eliminating all the weeds and turning them into fertilizer for the vines themselves. Finally, as happened last year also this year, the best twig will be tied to the stake, as can be seen from the photographs, to ensure that the vine reaches the first steel wire as soon as possible.
